Poor sanitation has become a menace in the district. Given this, the assembly organized a massive clean-up exercise at Ankamu on Saturday 1st July 2023 in the hours of 6:00 am – 11:00 am. The exercise is initiated by the Central Regional Coordinating Council on the first Saturday of every month.
