The executive members of the Cattle Farmers Association of Ghana today visited the Gomoa West District Assembly to submit a proposal to establish a modern cattle market at Sardo in the Ajumako Traditional Area in the Gomoa West District. This visit showcases the commitment of the association towards improving the cattle industry in Ghana. The proposal to establish a modern cattle market in Sardo holds great potential for the cattle farmers and the local economy, this was the word of the District Chief Executive (Hon. Bismark Baisie Nkum) when he received the proposal.
The modern cattle market would serve as a centralized hub for buying and selling cattle, providing a range of benefits for both sellers and buyers. The market will enhance trade efficiency, expand market access, improve incomes, promote regulations, and create employment opportunities. it is a step towards a more prosperous future for the cattle farmers and the local community.
