Gomoa West District Assembly handed over 60 sets of dual desks to Gomoa Adaa National Vocational and Technical Institute (NVTI) on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. The brief ceremony was held at the Office of the District Chief Executive.
Handing over the furniture, Hon. Bismark Baisie Nkum stated the government was constructing a number of structures on the school premise such as domitories, classrooms and workshops amongst others. The school also benefitted from a school donated by the Vice President, H.E. Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia. The school also was a beneficiary of workshop equipment such as LED TV and others. The facilities at the school would go along to provide practical skills to youth.
The Principal of the Institute, Ing. Frederick Attah-Leeward, expressed the gratitude of the school to the Government through the Honourable District Assembly for the supports. He went to request the the District to undertake some works on school park.
The chief of Gomoa Adaa, Nana Kwakwa I, said that his community would ever be grateful to the Government of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo for the massive infrastructural investments in the Institute. He stated that the level of facilities in the school would contribute to providing employable skills for the youth of the District.
